Big Win

I am writing today in ecstasy after watching the colts boys get up over the Collie Smeagles yesterday. And it wasnt just a win, it was a 127 thrashing, almost west coast eagles-like.

It was the first time in a long time that the team has played like a team should, and it showed. Best players on the day were hard to separate, but heres my picks for the day;

Jimmy 'Mr 10' Caldow: played like a true champ at full forward, demanded the ball and got it. Kicked 10 of the best, and even (remarkably) passed one off.

Jacob 'Gorilla' Grylls: Not the biggest kid going around but played with a shit load of heart and courage. One of the best tacklers on the day, also impressed watchers with his ball carrying and the amount of play he set up.

Calum 'Cramps' McMulkin: For someone playing his 3rd or 4th AFL game ever, he played remarkably well. Had a huge amount of inside 50's and linked up well with the backline on his wing. Very ferocious in his tackling, Cal wasnt scared to get in there and get the footy.

Kelly 'Goalski' Duthie: Played only half a game because he was swapping off the bench with pagey, but dominated in the air and ground alike. His pace is unrivalled and kicked one of the goals of the day, a 55 metre set shot. Will be sorely missed.

Thomas 'Fucked-Up-Finger' McMulkin: The clearance king for the day, played one of his best for the year, but couldnt crack a spot in the awards, which shows how well everyone played. Always great to watch, worked extremely well with kelly in the clearances.

So all in all, a great day for the team, and club, as rezzies and league won theirs too. It topped off a great weekend, with Tina's birthday bash taking place on friday night, which the woman didnt feel too good after, did you Em?

Im also happy to report that the eagerly awaited return of yours truly is this weekend, so dont fret.

Im Off like bad milk,

And if you were wondering what the photo up the top is about, its Kelly going for one of his famous marking attempts. Peace

Prologue

Its just occured to me that i havnt detailed the 'who' or 'when' very well. Obviously the boys reading this will know whats going on, but noone else will. So heres some extra details;

B-Chunk and Jarryd leave on Tuesday the 1st of july, with Kelly following 5 hours later. The McMulkin twins leave a month later (1st of august for all you fools who cant add) and they all go for 3 months except for Kelly who leaves for one and a bit. Cos he is more whipped than a losing racehorse. What am i saying, Im glad he'll be back earlier! At least one of them will be back for my birthday (18th of September, shove that into your diary's).

So that covers the who and when i guess,

A lot of the posts will be about our favourite football teams, the West Coast Eagles and the mighty Busselton Magpies, whom the boys are deserting, along with me, in greed and selfishness. Dont expect too much wins between them though.

anyway, im off like a slutty girl's panties

Blog set up!

Well here it is boys and girls. Thanks to Brocky, who recommended this hosting site, is the official authority on the trials and tribulations of Busselton. I have set up this blog so that my friends, the selfish deserting bastards that they are, can keep up with the happenings in their home town. They are, as of this Tuesday, calling New Zealand home for a few months.

I guess my posting partner will be Brocky (or B-Chunk as we all know him), who will be holding up the New Zealand end of the account, on his blog at brockynz08.blogspot.com.

It is my duty to let these boys know the blatantly honest and definitely un-exaggerated version of events as they happen in Busselton. If that means we catch some other interested viewers - so be it.

Wish me luck, and the boys a shit of a time. ;)

Im off like the lid on a fat kids lunchbox
